Such a wonderful and blessed time this evening and night, and for the past nights.
Today, I felt tired, and I went for a run by the bays... nature and running - they are both free, and miraculously, some how, always feel refreshed and energetic after soaking in the evening rays and with some pounding.
I sat down at a quieter stretch, breathed, and just took in the beautiful MBS scenery.
Wonder what goes on in the hearts and minds of all the city dwellers who run by, walked by, passed by?
I've spent the full month of Feb in Singapore and today, I felt like I miss Kenji so much. I saw his happy face, gnawing away at his crocodile, and really really miss him. Maybe a little emo tonight. :)
I cannot wait to see Kenji, and to hug him and have him snuggle up to me, and to smell that familiar doggy smell.
And tonight and yesterday night, and the past few nights, and all of them were just simply fabulous. I am so filled with gratitude and thanksgiving.
Tonight, @our place - a wonderful time of fellowship, food and sharing with one another. Covid or not, there's always time for deepening of relationships. Really blessed to be in this family of Christ, and to catch up. Kingdom relationships. 💓
And yesterday - dinner at Martin's and Paullyn's place. So so blessed, and with home-cooked food, so yummy and with South African red wines and whiskey. And the chatter was of dreams and possibilities, and of geomancers, Christ and life. So good. So thankful.
And the dinners and good times continue every night. This week is just good food and fellowship galore. Love the recommendation of this chong qing fish grill. Love the beer and its cooling draft. Love the getting to know each other better and being comrades and friends @ work. Love the fishiness and all that the evening brought. :)
And so today, just before I rest, I count my blessings once again.
While I may be tired mentally, and perhaps a little, emotionally, God is still faithful and good. Live well - this word for 2020 will continue to resonate.
Joel 2:25 - 27 (MSG) - that I will know without question that God is in the thick of my life; that He is my God, the one whom I can praise daily and fully; the one who will fill me up and who is my provider, the one who will always amaze me with His wonderous works and ways, the one who always has my back and in Him, I can fully trust. :)
