Just-In-Time Learning

I am feeling so proud of myself.
I wanted to open the bottle of red wine from Serbia, but I couldn't get the cork out with our "weird" corkscrew. Steve is working night shift, and Viven doesn't seem to be around...

So, I googled and found some brilliant solutions.
Basically, use a book.

See: https://food-hacks.wonderhowto.com/how-to/10-absolutely-ingenious-ways-open-wine-without-corkscrew-0163021/

The lady did it in less than 20 knocks.
I decided to try it.
First round - 78 knocks...
Then 90 knocks...
Then 60 knocks...?!?!?!

Give up? My arms felt sore and tired. Give up?
NOOOOOOO.
I had to keep at it since it looked like it was beginning to inch out.
Steve said it looked bogus...

Finally...
4th round - At the 28th knock this round... IT POPPED!!

Haha, this is JIT learning.
I learnt something new tonight.

お疲れ様でした to myself. :D
